3. Purpose and Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal data solely for the purpose of receiving and handling your message and responding to your inquiry.

The legal basis for processing is the Association's legitimate interest in communicating with individuals who contact us on their own initiative (Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR).

We do not use personal data submitted through the contact form to send promotional communications.

4. Data Retention Period

We retain your personal data for a maximum of 6 months after the conclusion of our communication.

After this period, the data is deleted unless a longer retention period is required by law or necessary for the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims.

5. Recipients of Personal Data

Personal data may be accessed by authorised members or representatives of the Association.

We use the Framer platform to operate our website and contact form. Data submitted through the form is forwarded to nda@nda.si.

Personal data may also be processed by website hosting and email service providers as necessary to deliver their services.

Information regarding any transfers of personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA) and the applicable safeguards must be verified and aligned with the actual service providers used.

6. Your Rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, and restrict the processing of your personal data, as well as the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests.

Where the applicable legal conditions are met, you also have the right to data portability.

7. Voluntary Provision of Personal Data

Providing personal data through the contact form is voluntary and is not a statutory or contractual requirement.

However, without a valid email address, we will be unable to respond to your message.

8. Automated Decision-Making

We do not use personal data collected through the contact form for automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Article 22 of the GDPR.
